Multitasking on Friday!

Happy Friday Teacher Friends!
Today I am multitasking and linking up with Kacey over at Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday and Amanda over at Teaching Maddeness

Apparently multitasking is the name of the game for me this week.

#1 Have you seen Joanne’s Scan to Win Reward Tickets? Fabulous! I
downloaded the set this week and my kiddos are super excited! FUN, FUN!  If they are on task for the entire day, I use a STICK PICK app (see post here) to chose my game show contestants, and then they get to play my new game show "SCAN IT TO WIN IT!"  ;)  Thanks Joanne for the set...WE LOVE IT!

#2 Are you on TWITTER? I had a great chat with some 5th grade teacher friends on TWITTER the other night and we've never met in person! Great professional development from the comfort of your home, or from your smartphone while you wait in line somewhere, or where ever you like. :) You can find me at @brandeeg123   Let's chat!

#3 TESTING IS OVER! Enough SAID!

#4 A huge part of my week, other than testing has been research for our ABC books of American history from 1865 to the present. Yes, I've been throwing in a little bit of SS standards even though I don’t actually teach it. Next week we start recording our commercials to ask the little friends in our school for help in making another ABC book focusing on children’s literature throughout elementary school. I want my big kids to remember the books that they loved when they were little kids before they move on to the big world of middle school! I'll post some pics of those books in a few weeks.

#5 AND my last highlight from my week…
MY ONE MONTH BLOG-IVERSARY! Thanks for all your support, help, and friendships! You guys are a fabulous group to “hangout” with and I have truly enjoyed and learned a lot over the past month! BLOGWORLD ROCKS! I even created a button this week! ;)

Happy Weekend Everybody!  Don't forget to visit over at Doodle Bugs Teaching and Teaching Maddeness to see what everyone else has been up to this week! ;)

  9. I am so impressed that you created your own blog button! I need a tutorial about Twitter. I have an account and I just don't "get it". I have started my Instagram account and that seems a bit more manageable to me. I would love your thoughts on how you use Twitter. Congrats on one month of blogging!

  10. So glad you decided to join the blogging community! It's a great place to be! I can't wait to see what your students create with their ABC books (By the way...they can come anytime to my room...I seem to respond better on here than on school email ;) Congrats on one month. I'll toast it tomorrow when I see you :)))
